JULIE BOHN | DIRECTOR OF VOLLEYBALL

Julie is a life-long sports fan and believes every child can benefit from sports if given a nurturing environment and caring coaches. She grew up in Grand Island, NE but has lived in Omaha for over 25 years. Her love of competition stems from growing up with four brothers, two sisters and parents that enjoyed all sports but especially Husker athletics. She was a three-sport athlete in high school and has enjoyed sports her entire adult life and continues to play tennis, golf, volleyball, and softball.

Julie graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a B.S. in English and Journalism. She has spent her career working in the financial services industry and currently manages a team of sales professionals for a global corporation. Julie and her husband Steve have four daughters, all of whom attend or graduated from Central High School and are proud supporters of Omaha Public Schools.

For the past 15 years, Julie has coached her daughters individually and been a successful recreational softball and volleyball coach. “Youth sports should not be an exclusive experience, reserved only for those that can afford it or have the greatest athletic ability. Every child should get the opportunity to explore sports in a high-quality fashion - learning the fundamentals and joy of playing.”
